A Stroll Through Panama City’s El Chorrillo Neighborhood

Right next to the touristy Casco Viejo is a much more interesting and authentic El Chorrillo neighborhood, rife with the street art, abandoned buildings, and bustling life. Also quite the reminder of the massive income disparitites existing in the city. I was told it was unsafe (one of the few unsafe places in Panama City), but of course did not rine that to be true.

Grafitti so good, it’s like a dream…

Get it, because Sueña means dream.

So, so many layers of paint peel off of so, so many buildings.

Upon entry, it seemed a lot of the abandoned buildings were not as abandoned as they initially appeared…

There were ample oppprunities to climb through holes in walls and enter said buildings. Which I clearly did.

While approaching this laundry/tiger street art scenario, some man stopped me and asked what I was doing. Photographing laundry, obviously.
